Sean Keveney serves as the Deputy General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), where he applies his extensive legal expertise to guide the department on complex regulatory and compliance issues. Before joining HHS, Keveney held a senior legal position at the U.S. Department of Justice as Senior Counsel (Acting) to the Assistant Attorney General, providing strategic advice on a wide range of civil and criminal matters. He also gained litigation experience as a Trial Attorney at DOJ and began his career as a Judicial Law Clerk, which gave him valuable insight into the judicial process.
Keveney holds a Juris Doctor degree from a prestigious law school, graduating with distinction. His academic background, combined with years of public sector legal experience, equips him to navigate complex regulatory environments, especially in healthcare and government operations.
