Juan Pascual is Vice President for France, Italy, and Iberia at Elanco, where he leads operations across multiple markets and drives innovation in animal health. Over his career, he has held senior responsibilities in several countries, including Italy, the USA, France, Spain, and Latin America.

He currently also serves as Vice President of AnimalHealthEurope, contributing to policy development and industry advocacy across Europe.

Juan is the author of Reasons to Be an Omnivore: For You and the Planet, a guide addressing misconceptions about livestock farming, animal experimentation, and domestic animal ownership. He has published widely in professional media and popular science outlets and has presented at universities as well as technical and policy forums on livestock farming, sustainability, nutrition, and the crucial – but often unknown – role animals play in society.

Juan holds a degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Zaragoza (1990) and an Executive MBA from the Instituto de Empresa (2004). He began his career working in large animal clinics and later transitioned to the animal health sector.
