Damian Brennan is the Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of American Heavy Plates (AHP), a niche market steel rolling mill and service center in Ohio. The hyper-cyclical nature of the steel industry over the past twenty years has led to a regular cycle of booms and busts in steel supply and consumption. AHP was founded to address these issues, transforming a 4-6 month cycle of ordering and production to a 2 week process, reducing commodity exposure and ensuring manufacturers have an alternative to imported steel plate for time sensitive production requirements.

His current responsibilities include strategic sourcing and sales, technology, and administration.

Mr. Brennan has 25 years of experience in the steel industry with roles in executive management, supply chain, information technology, sales, logistics, and trading. He earned an MBA and MS in Information Systems from Boston University, and an undergraduate degree in Philosophy.
