Claire Munck is CEO at BeAngels, Belgium’s largest and most dynamic private investor community. Over the last 25 years, it has enabled 85 million euros + to be channelled into several hundred start-ups. Claire founded and is the Managing Partner of the Scalefunds dedicated to financing the start-up to scale-up gap. In 2013, Claire joined the Board of Business Angels Europe where she has the responsibility for Global Strategy. Claire spent close to 10 years with EBAN, the European Trade Association for Business Angels, including five years as managing director. She was part of the founding team of the WBAA – World Business Angels Association and a founding Executive Committee Member of the Global Business Angel Network. Prior to that, Munck was project manager for EURADA – European Association of Regional Development Agencies. She is an alumni of McGill University, the European Communication School and the Free University of Brussels.
