Anne Butterly is CEO and Founder of Easydry, based in County Louth, Ireland, and a recognised leader in sustainable manufacturing and responsible business growth. She founded Easydry more than 20 years ago with a clear aim: replace resource-intensive cotton towels and traditional laundry with a cleaner, plant-based alternative for professional environments.
Easydry introduced one of the first fully compostable disposable towels for salons and professional spaces, removing the need for daily laundry, high water use and heavy energy demand. The company now supplies hair, beauty, healthcare, hospitality and gym sectors across more than 25 countries worldwide, supporting businesses in reducing water, energy and carbon use through practical operational change.
Under Anne’s leadership, Easydry became the world’s first disposable towel company to achieve B Corp Certification and one of Ireland’s earliest certified B Corps, completing recertification in 2025. The business also holds long-standing FSC Certification across products and packaging.
Anne’s background spans accounting, management and marketing roles with international firms before founding Easydry. She has completed executive education in female entrepreneurship at Cornell University. Her work has been recognised through national and international sustainability, export and climate leadership awards.
